Alicante airport is generally 25-45 minutes drive for properties throughout this region whilst San Javier Airport (often known as Murcia Airport) is between 10 and 25 minutes drive away.
An interesting feature of this region are the properties the salt lagoons of the area offer.
Working as Natures ‘De-Humidifier’ these salt lakes (Santa Pola and 2 in Torrevieja, and don't forget the Mar Menor-Europe's largest inland Sea) give relief to many suffering from Rheumatism, Arthritis and Bronchial/Breathing problems. An area with a vibrant feel and an established infrastructure from healthcare and road links to education centres and many things to entertain all the family!
Altea, Albir, Alfaz del Pi, Denia, Calpe and Moraira are familiar names with inland areas such as Busot, Finestrat, La Nucia and Polop offering some fine locations also.
